Automation project for the Body-in-White (BIW) manufacturing lines of FCA Jeep B556/B596, focusing on PLC programming, system integration, and production line automation.
Technology Platform
Rockwell 1756-L83ES PLC CPUs, Rockwell PV1500 HMIs, Local & Remote I/O, Ethernet communication network, Perceptron systems, COMAU robots, BOSCH weld source, SMC valves, Spot welding, Stud welding, Laser cell, and Hemming systems.
Project Scope
- PLC program development for Front Floor, Rear Floor, Hood, Body Side LH & RH, Underbody, Roof, and Tailgate lines
- Establishment of industrial communication networks
- Integration of robotic welding and automation systems
- Testing, proving, and final handover of the system
